Juliana Pinho Muller
Juliana Pinho Muller is a 20-years-old Brazilian artist and activist for inclusive and accessible education in Latin America. With that in mind, she created the HISTORIAR-TE, a platform in which she produces educational content on the History subject aiming to provide supplementary materials for non-traditional students (people with ADHD, dyslexia and little exposure to formal education), besides incentivizing critical thinking.
In addition, she co-founded the Além dos Muros movement, a youth organization in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, which promotes learning through experiences outside of school, with a focus on social and environmental issues.
Juliana was a student on a scholarship basis at a EMIS, a boarding school with the mission of uniting Israelis, Palestinians and internationals for peace in the Middle East. There she learned about dual historical narratives and how the youth can use education as an instrument for reconciliation and structural change, so she can later apply her learnings in her own country. She is also an upcoming student at Rice University, TX.
Juliana is recognized as a Global Teen Leader by the WAFF, Young Changemaker by Ashoka, and Winner of the 2nd Human Rights Youth Challenge, by the United Nations, and uses her platform to advocate for inclusivity and youth protagonism.
