Philip Chennery
Philip Chennery discovered the disarmament community through SOAS University’s SCRAP Weapons project. There he worked on the FREEZEWEAPONS campaign in Europe and the GWTS (global weapons tracking system) programme, engaging with OSCINT specialists.
Philip is grateful for the way SCRAP threw him in at the deep end of arms control and helped him develop a critical perspective on the subject. Since then, Philip has continued to write on disarmament policy, most recently winning an essay competition hosted by APLN and the Korea Times. Philip hopes to take his experiences and learning on the issue of D.N.A and transform it into content that is accessible to a non-specialist audience.
