Sofia Polishchuk is working for the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations as a political and cyber affairs intern. She is the director of The Children of Ukraine Foundation which is currently providing emergency humanitarian relief to underserved children in Ukraine. Sofia holds a B.A. with the highest distinction in International Studies from Fordham University.
She will pursue a J.D. in the fall of 2022 in international security law. At the same time, she will complete an M.A. to specialize in European and Eurasian Affairs. Sofia is passionate about advancing peace and security in Ukraine while educating and empowering the Ukrainian diaspora.
